  • Intel Corporation stated their intention to unveil the next CPU generation in June 2024. The new SoC differs from the existing Meteor Lake SoCs, consisting of Intel Core and Core Ultra CPUs, in that it brings some improvements. Improvements that include improved power efficiency, a four-fold increase in NPU processing power, a 50% faster Intel Arc GPU based on the next-generation Arc Battlemage architecture, and on-chip memory which would result in smaller size and faster access are also under improvements.
  • MaxLinear, Inc. announced the 'Sierra' platform, also referred to as the MXL17xxx series, in February 2024. The SoC is specifically designed for 4G/5G radio devices in the O-RAN system. RU applications that could be utilized by the Sierra platform include traditional macro, massive MIMO, picocell, and integrated small cells, among others. 
  • Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. and Robert Bosch GmbH unveiled a car computer, in January 2024, that integrates ADAS and entertainment features in a single system-on-chip. This central computer is powered by the Snapdragon RideTM Flex SoC, as revealed by Bosch as part of its cockpit and ADAS integration platform. From their long-standing partnership, the two companies continuously innovate with new ideas for software-defined vehicle solutions.
