  • November 2024: ULIS released the Atto320TM, the first in its new 12-micron, stand-alone image sensor series. The 12-micron pixel pitch is rapidly becoming the standard for thermal image sensors, especially in those applications where compactness and expense are desired. Target applications most likely to benefit include outdoor recreation and surveillance, thermography, and observation. The Atto320 is a full-digital 320×240 thermal image sensor (microbolometer) that is constructed using ULIS' 12-micron technology patent, which reflects the company's sensor miniaturization direction.
  • October 2024: BAE Systems is delighted to announce the deployment of NASA's Europa Clipper spacecraft, which had been launched from Kennedy Space Flight Center in Florida. For this mission, BAE Systems not only delivered the engineering model but also included the flight power and control electronics for the E-THEMIS instrument. Further, the company played a leading role in developing and integrating the radiation-hardened microbolometer focal plane assembly and handled the radiation hardening and mitigation of the entire system.
